...The one with all the dirty secrets and stuff.
I'm knee-deep in two productions, this one and this one (the first one on the page). I'm going cah-RAYZEE!
By the way, both of those shows are going to rock you.
*******
I need to warn you about something.
I saw that Matthew Freeman show, Interview with the Author (or some such). This run is finished, but in case it is revived, I wanted to warn you to avoid it like the plague. In fact, exactly like the plague. Because it is The Plague.
It's not that the show is bad. On the contrary, it's really good, really funny and economic and squirmingly honest. The problem is not that it's bad. The problem is that it's Evil. Just like Matthew Freeman is Evil - The Most Malevolent Playwright of Modern History. He emanates pure Evil.
And I can prove it.
Here are just a few of the events that I noted taking place in the immediate viscinity of the performance of An Interview With the Author:
- Dogs bayed and cats mewed.- Mothers turned on their grandmothers.
- An inexplicable moisture welled up in every pack of cigarettes in a ten-block radius, making the cigarettes inside unsmokable.
- The sky turned the color of James Comtois.
- A planned Jermaine Jackson street concert, intended to be offered free of charge to the residents of Metropolitan Avenue just outside the Brick, was cancelled without explanation.
These are facts. If anyone wishes to challenge me, please first rebut my facts. I write from a place of compassion.
I write for you.
